The Advancing Equity, Diversity & Inclusion in Organizations micro-credential comprises four stackable micro-courses, each providing approximately 15 hours of training over three weeks. Each micro-course will be offered through online, self-paced delivery with optional real-time zoom sessions.

Learners can expect to spend five hours a week engaging in learning activities, including readings, online group discussions and assignments. Bundled together, learners earn an Advancing Equity, Diversity & Inclusion micro-credential by completing 60 hours of training.

Learners will consider the behavioural science that drives our interactions, deepen an awareness of the impacts of racism and marginalization in groups, explore measurement and engagement tools, use data to assess diversity and inclusion (EDI) in their organization, and develop action-based strategies at the individual, team and organization level to improve equity, diversity and inclusion. Upon completion, participants will have the awareness, tools, skills and strategies needed to address unconscious bias, engage diverse teams, build an inclusive organizational climate and lead EDI change.

Selkirk College's Enterprise GIS micro-credential course offers a comprehensive exploration of Enterprise GIS and its various components. This fully online course covers a wide spectrum of topics, including deployment strategies, installation procedures, configuration techniques, effective administration, security measures, data management best practices, open source alternatives, and the practical usage of ArcGIS Enterprise. The Drone Ground School course provides students with a solid foundation in drone operations, augmented by experiential field-based opportunities, for aspiring drone pilots endeavoring to pass their Transport Canada Basic RPAS exam. Students will develop their knowledge of ground school concepts with a focus on regulations and procedures governing legal drone operations to empower competent, confident, and safe operators.

This micro-credential is a comprehensive 16-week program designed to equip early-career trades workers and mid-career industrial designers with advanced skills in digital manufacturing. It focuses on integrating digital tools into traditional manufacturing processes, enhancing your abilities in 2D and 3D design, computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) and data analysis within the context of Industry 4.0.
