MATH 46: Mathematics for Trades– Intermediate Level is for students to upgrade their mathematics skills. This math course provides a solid foundation in number operations. Topics include estimation, measurement, fractions, ratio and proportion, percent, geometry, statistics, signed numbers, exponents, algebra, trigonometry, graphing and polynomials. This course prepares students for most trades programs or to take Math 56 Foundations Mathematics – Advanced Level.
This course is equivalent to grade 10 developmental mathematics.
