ENGL 66: Essential English - Provincial Level is for students to upgrade their English skills. Students will develop practical skills in reading, writing, and communicating. This course also includes EDSS 99 -- College Success. These skills will enable students to perform the tasks required by their occupations and other aspects of daily life. It is for students who do not intend to take college-level English classes, as it is not recognized as a prerequisite for post-secondary courses.
This course meets the Provincial Level English requirements for the BC Adult Graduation Diploma.
English 66 is equivalent to Communications 12.
