Students engage in a variety of classroom and shop activities. Theoretical principles of construction are learned in the classroom, Hands on learning in the Carpentry Building students will learn the safe use and practice of hand, portable and stationary tools through building a variety of projects. Students will use a builders' levels and learn how to lay out buildings and to construct concrete formwork, floors, walls, roofs, and stairs in compliance with BC Building Code standards.
