FOR280 Applied Research Project is focused on expanding students understanding of applied research practices, that explore both western science and Indigenous ways of knowing, while refining research principles and methods explored in 1st year with an emphasis on forest resources.
This capstone course for the Forestry Technology program spans both the fall and winter semesters. Students will complete an independent forestry applied research project, which will be presented at the annual SEG conference at the end of the winter semester, as well as complete a 30 page technical report in APA.
